THE TRUTH ABOUT "FREE" RENT SPECIALS AND COUPONS: Nothing is for free. You should be very wary of storage facilities that offer deals that seem to good to be true (The GOT-YA). One of the predominant schemes is to raise the rent a month or two after you move in and continue ever few months thereafter. Another is that many places have a NO REFUND for early move out policy. That's right, pay on the 1st for the full month, decided to move out on the 5th, and loss the rest of the rent for the month. Still another is to charge a full months rent as a security or cleaning deposit You need go and visit the facility "before" you show up with your truck full ready to unload. Is the facility and the unit you are going to rent CLEAN? How about crime? You must ask if the facility has any history of unit break-in's and burglary. It happens, and most people just don't ask first, and end up sorry afterward.
